Corax Study-Tour: Introduction to England
Spring Break -- March 13-20, 2005 (SA 290)

This royal throne of kings, this scepter'd isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise ...
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England ...

Shakespeare's words sum up for us how the romance, pageantry, and long history of England have always fired our imaginations. Come with us during spring break and find out just why this is so. Students will experience an intensive week exploring the sights, sounds, and flavors of Southern England. Students will be based in London; selected field trips will reveal how contemporary British life and thought have their roots in ancient times. Time in London will be spent exploring the city itself.
